Utilities Technician

Ciner Glass in Lommel is expanding its team and is looking for a Mechanical/Electrical Utilities Technician to support the development of our brand‑new glass factory.
As a Utilities Technician, you are responsible for the technical maintenance and operation of the facility systems that keep our factory running. You work in day shift and, according to the planning, you take responsibility for 2 out of every 6 weekends.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, water, and gas installations
- Assembling, disassembling, and replacing mechanical and electrical components
- Analyzing and resolving technical malfunctions
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and documentation
- Executing and monitoring calibrations
- Recording all completed work in our systems
- Collaborating with fellow technicians, engineers, and other departments
- Contributing to improvement projects within the Utilities department
- Working safely and following all quality guidelines

Wij vragen
What we expect from you:
- A technical diploma in mechanics, electromechanics, or electricity
- Experience as a technician is an advantage
- Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work accurately, independently, and as part of a team
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Willingness to attend several mid‑week training sessions in Turkey
- Basic knowledge of HVAC or experience with utilities systems is a strong plus
