Are you looking for a hands-on mechanical engineering role within a large industrial construction project? For a project site in Lommel, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support and supervise on-site activities. You will work closely with contractors, coordinate technical work and help ensure the project is delivered according to plan. The position offers long-term opportunities beyond the current project phase.
- You will oversee contractors performing mechanical works on site
- You ensure activities are carried out according to the approved designs and schedules
- You are responsible for purchasing materials and construction supplies required for the project
- You will assist in preparing technical designs, work plans and material requirements
- You will monitor project deadlines, follow up on progress and ensure contractors comply with specifications and quality standards
Wij bieden
- Gross monthly salary between €4,500 and €5,000
- Immediate permanent contract with the company (initially on monthly basis, followed by a indefinite-term contract)
- Meal vouchers worth €8 per day or the option to have lunch on-site
- Day shift from Monday to Friday, from 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Wij vragen
- Your are fluent in English (Dutch, French or Turkisch is a strong plus)
- Experience in industrial construction projects is a major asset
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) installations is important
- You are able to coordinate and supervise contractors on-site
- You work accurately and keep track of deadlines
- You are flexible regarding working hours and willing to work overtime when necessary
